Here we go!!
Well, the brothers are gone now, but one will be back today...and I'll just have to work around him, as he's going to be staying here for a few weeks. But I'm NOT going to let that sidetrack me...you hear me!!?? Actually, I'm hoping he will help me with my clean-em-up efforts and be some muscle for me. The 1st thing on the agenda is to take up the old carpet in this house that is aggravating my allergies. I'm aiming for Friday to get that done. And that makes me think....I need to have a schedule for the changes that I'm effecting here. That will help me focus and help my brother know how to schedule his work around what I need to get done. I will make a schedule today. Check!

Gosh... pulling up the carpet sounds like a great idea! If I could do that in the apartment I rent I surely would because I hear ya on the allergies! I'm personally starting with my bedroom. I always tend to focus my cleaning efforts on the living room because it is the first place others will see. I've decided instead this time to begin by focusing on the rooms that should be my places to relax and renew myself. This is a totally different way for me to approach this task.
Totally agree with you about the scheduling bit too. Schedule... schedule... schedule... that keeps coming up for me. Doing great Katie!
Hi, Shannon! Yes, that's a very good way to approach the cleaning -- the places where you renew and relax ARE the most important places to do first!! I got my bedroom in order last year -- still needs some work though -- so that's my sanctuary.
Well, it's Friday, and I wasn't able to get the 1st carpet removal done. I am going to drop back and punt and aim for next week. I will talk to my brother tonight and set a definite date with him to help me. I'm very excited! I know that there will be a phase where I'm getting used to being more productive, but right now it's like pulling teeth. But giving up is not an option, and I will perservere!!!!!
